Musicians from Lithonia, Georgia, a Metro Atlanta city, have teamed up to create the "Lovely Lithonia" mixtape series. Amavi, made an appearance on the Netflix show "Rhythm and Flow," Zane Smith has had music used by the NBA for promotional ads, and Yani Mo has been recognized by annual music conference A3C as a DOPE MC! This mixtape is a collection of songs from ten artists, both men and women, three being female. 

Different styles are showcased in this brief mixtape, styled like a DJ set; hip-hop, rap, R&B, trap, and conscious sounds are all on display. The "Lovely Lithonia" mixtape series shows the versatility of the people in Lithonia. Whether born-and-raised there, moved there, or visited there; their experiences, subjects, and styles are shown in their music. These artists look to shed light on the city with their talents.

Volume 2 is set to release in two weeks on August 7, 2020. 

Lithonia, Georgia rapper Zane Smith has released sixth studio album “Mr. Roy G. Biv” on June 24, 2020. Titled with a new alias, Zane Smith is now Mr. Roy Biv due to his background in graphic design. Previous albums “(SWATCHES, black, and gray) have also been named after colors, each used to describe and portray different moods.

With this album, Zane Smith creates a sound like never before working with various producers. The cover features nine colors, representing the nine songs on the album. Each song is associated to a different color and mood. This collection of tracks is an emotional roller coaster of sounds, subjects and lyrics showcasing Zane’s versatility.
