On Friday, December 11, 2020, record distributor United Masters announced Zane Smith's song "24 Hours" will be added to the NBA 2K21 Video Game Soundtrack. The Lithonia, Georgia artist was selected 1/10 winners in the 2K Beats: The Search competition held by 2K and United Masters. See post...
The song written the age of twenty-four, released at twenty-five, and now has exposure at the age of twenty-six, was the last song originally written for Zane Smith's Roy G. Biv album. "I had the beat several months, and knew the direction but it took time to write. I would write some, stop, edit, and write some more. It took several months, but I was proud of the outcome. Now look at the song!" says Zane Smith.
